Companions Prayer

  
  Lord Jesus,
we thank you
for calling us your friends.
We are grateful
for God’s abundant gifts,
for one another,
and for the mission
we share as your companions.
Teach us to pray;
give us your heart;
help us see you
in the poor and broken-hearted.
Grant our heart’s desire:
to love and follow you more closely,
to find our way to you
through one another.
And invite yet others
to walk with us along the Way.
In your name, we pray.
