Timothy P. Kesicki was born in 1962 to Robert
Kesicki and Carmella Adorante in Erie, Pennsylvania.

After attending catholic schools in Erie,
Timothy received a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Political Science
from John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio.

Timothy entered the Society of
Jesus at Loyola House Jesuit Novitiate in Berkley, Michigan,
in 1984. His formation as a Jesuit included philosophical studies
at Loyola University, Chicago, theological studies at Jesuit
School of Theology in Berkeley, California, and studies in educational
administration at Teacher's College in Columbia, New York.
Prior to his ordination Timothy worked at
the University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Academy (UDJHS&A)
from 1988 through 1991. While working at UDJHS&A, he taught
Theology, was the director of the service program, and worked
on the pastoral team.

Timothy was ordained to the priesthood in
1994. After his ordination, Fr. Kesicki worked for a year at
the Jesuit Refugee Service in Adjumania, Uganda before teaching
theology at Loyola High School in Detroit, Michigan.

Since 2000 Fr. Kesicki has been the president
of St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland, Ohio.
Fr. Kesicki will begin his term
as Provincial Superior of the Detroit Province of the Society
of Jesus in the summer of 2008.
